“Danny Go!” is a live-action educational children’s show filled with music, movement and silliness. Created in 2019 by 3 childhood friends in Charlotte, North Carolina, the show inspires learning and off-the-couch exercise for kids ages 3 to 7. Here’s what you’ll find in our videos:

"Danny Go"
Danny Go is an energetic, optimistic character who loves using his imagination and learning about the world around him. Though much of the show takes place in the cartoon neighborhood of Dannywood, he often uses his magical ‘far-flying fireflies’ to travel to real-world locations. Danny is the central character of the show & most videos are presented from his childlike point-of-view.

"Pap pap"
Pap Pap is a scientist who loves inventing and experimenting in his lab with his friend, Bearhead. He also loves accompanying Danny on adventures and helping him understand new concepts.

"bearhead"
Bearhead is a scientist-in-training who tags along with his mentor, Pap Pap. Though kind-hearted, Bearhead loves to be silly and has a tendency to get himself into trouble. His antics and absent-mindedness provide comic relief for the show.

"mindy mango"
Mindy Mango is a farmer with a passion for healthy foods. She’s often found at the farmer’s market or working on her tractor.

"bothersome bear"
Brought to life by a mysterious button, Bothersome Bear is Bearhead’s nemesis. He’s mischievous, tricky and hard to catch!

"gerald"
Gerald is a professional drummer and owns his own music studio in Dannywood. While he stays busy recording, he always loves when his friends pay him a visit.

"TINY DANNY"
Tiny Danny is the small, imaginary version of Danny Go. Whether riding a bee through a flower garden or almost getting eaten in a pumpkin pie, his curiosity alway leads to some entertaining outcomes!

Miss B is Bearhead’s proud mother. She loves talking to her son on the phone and is known for her impeccable cooking skills.

Daniel Coleman (“Danny Go”)
Daniel lives with his wife Mindy (aka “Mindy Mango”) and their sons Isaac (11) and Levi (7) in Davidson, North Carolina. Daniel was a video producer and host for Lowe’s Home Improvement before leaving to pursue full-time freelance work in 2021. His passion for children’s content stems from childhood heroes like Fred Rogers, as well as the joy of simply entertaining his own kids. Daniel also has a personal passion for special needs families, as his son Isaac was born with a severe genetic disorder called Fanconi Anemia and has undergone a bone marrow transplant, kidney transplant and various other surgeries.
Michael Finster (“Bearhead”)
Michael is a music producer living in Charlotte, NC. In addition to being a main character on the show, he also does the bulk of the filming, editing and music production for Danny Go. When he’s not sweating inside of the Bearhead costume, he can be found hitting balls at the golfing range or snuggling his rescue cat, Marcus.
Matthew Padgett (“Pap Pap”)
Matthew lives with his wife Lauren and 3 kids Lucy (6), Julian (6) and Nora (2) in Davidson, NC. Matthew is an electrical engineer by day, but at night you’ll find him planning shoots, writing songs and finding the perfect sound effects in his home studio. And as the main adult character in the show, he often spends his time looking up big words and sciencey facts to share.

While a live concert tour is a long-term goal for the Danny Go team, we have no live events scheduled at this time. However, anyone in the Charlotte area should keep their eyes peeled at local parades, as Danny Go characters have been spotted riding on their red Jeep on occasion!
